Our History
Sion Clearwater Campus — also known as Sion Private Academy, Clearwater Campus — is a private academy located in Clearwater Estate, Atlas Road, Parkhaven, Boksburg. The school offers bilingual education from early childhood through to Grade 12, and is proud of an 89.1% National Senior Certificate pass rate for the Grade 12 class of 2025 — results built around academic excellence, interactive smart board classrooms, and state-of-the-art astro sports facilities.
Ons het klein begin. Sion Private Academy was born from a genuine passion for education and a desire to walk alongside learners who need individual attention, patience and encouragement to succeed. What started as a small homework centre grew into a tutoring centre offering individual support through the Impaq curriculum.
As demand grew and the impact on learners became clear, the school moved to larger premises and in 2018 began its journey towards full registration with the Department of Education. Today Sion is a fully registered independent school offering education from the Pre-Foundation Phase through to Grade 12 — 'n veilige, inklusiewe en koesterende omgewing where every learner has access to quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
